Coach DJ’s debut release is now available

I was deeply moved by his compassionate, trauma-informed approach to healing the wounds of fatherlessness and how it reframes masculinity through a spiritual lens. I found myself challenged and inspired, especially by the idea of finding “my burn” and the richness of Black Christian spirituality.

– Laurene Cibene, Author, Tiger In A Lifeboat: Discovering India, Deconstructing Faith, and Deciding to Trust Again

Well done! I love how you engage so many aspects of the manhood journey, particularly as a Black-bodied man. I love reading your words and learning from you.

– Chris Bruno, Author, Sage: A Man’s Guide to His Second Passage and Manmaker Project: A Father’s Guide to Initiating His Son into Manhood

When God’s glory is most alive in a man he is fatherfull and beautiful.

Helping men heal from the trauma of shame & live courageously.

  • Born and raised in the island nation of Turks and Caicos in the West Indies (Caribbean), I am a storyteller and an island boy at my core.

I also enjoy being a world traveler, avid reader, writer (published author), and a lifelong humanitarian.

After spending a decade in the corporate world as a senior marketing executive, my insights into workplace culture, leadership, and helping men feel seen, heard, understood, and connected at work stem from my personal experiences and the wisdom garnered from wonderful friends and mentors.

Recently, I released my first book, entitled Fatherfullness: Redeeming the Fatherless Heart, which seeks to help men navigate their own journey of healing from the trauma of shame associated with not having a securely attached relationship with a father, and navigating life and relationships as a person of color.

Today, I spend a lot of time in Southeast Asia, sitting at Cousin’s Cafe, writing about my adventures, or building friendships with different men and families from different parts of the world, attending men’s retreats and intensives, launching in person and virtual men’s groups, and becoming more culturally aware and present to the most pressing needs of men in our generation.

My heart bleeds for global justice, global peace, and raising a generation of courageous men to become a beautiful resistance in the middle of a chaotic world.

  • As a certified narrative and trauma-informed men’s recovery coach, I help men become unstuck and find the inspiration to heal from traumatic experiences.
